HousekeeperTownePlace Suites by Marriott in Lawrence is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Housekeeper (full-time and part-time) to join our team.This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall presentation of guest rooms and assigned areas to ensure a comfortable and welcoming experience for every guest. The Housekeeper reports to the Housekeeping Manager and is responsible for the following:Essential Job Functions:Clean guest rooms as assigned, including but not limited to: Making beds Cleaning bathrooms Cleaning kitchens/kitchenettes Dusting and vacuumingChange and replenish bed linens, towels, and guest amenities as neededPerform deep cleaning tasks as assignedStock and maintain housekeeping cart dailyDispose of trash and recyclables properlyRespond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient mannerComplete maintenance work orders and deliver to manager or supervisor promptlyMaintain prompt and regular attendanceScheduling & Availability:The hotel operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a dayAssociates must be available to work a minimum of 16 hours per week for part-time statusSchedules may fluctuate based on business demandAssociates may be required to work shifts other than those normally scheduled or preferredOvertime may be required as business needs dictateWeekends are requiredWorkplace Expectations:Comply with hotel and/or departmental uniform standardsMaintain professional behavior and appearanceReview and approve electronic timecard weekly for accuracyCarry out all reasonable requests by leadership within the associate's capabilitiesThe duties listed above are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed.
